Overview

The immune response is, among other things, a resource-allocation problem. We build a systems-level PDE model coupling innate and adaptive immune dynamics to tissue-level resources, fit its parameters to biological data, and use sensitivity analysis to show how cytokine-regulated redistribution controls pathogen clearance and overall robustness.
