Spoke at the inaugural Dean of Science Symposium and patron's dinner

The photo on this site’s homepage comes from this event. That’s me at the podium at MIT’s Patron’s Dinner, where I was one of the evening’s speakers. I told the story of how I got to MIT, shared a bit of my research, and thanked the patrons in person. Support like theirs is a real part of why I get to spend my days on physics, and it was good to say so directly.

I also represented the physics department at the inaugural MIT Dean of Science Symposium, with a presentation on my research on branching networks.

I am grateful and honored to be surrounded by such a bright and diverse community.
